Hailing from the music hotbed of West Georgia, Brian’s hardworking nature has landed him opening slots for many reputable artists in nearly every genre. As a result of Brian’s versatility, he has shared stages with KISS, Alabama, Zac Brown Band, Marshall Tucker Band, Kip Moore, Georgia Satellites, Edwin McCain, Blackberry Smoke, Shawn Mullins, and Lynyrd Skynyrd, among others. He was named as an ‘Artist to Watch’ by CMA, Billboard, and CMT.
Brian claimed the title of highest independent charting artist on the Music Row Country Breakout Chart with his uplifting sophomore Top 10 single “Shine A Little Love” which celebrated national media recognition and went No.1 on CMT’s Pure 12-Pack Countdown for seven weeks in a row. Later singles released charted in the Top 20 and he is proudly endorsed artist with Taylor Guitars and Lee Oskar Harmonicas.
Brian released a 6 track EP in 2019, but when the pandemic hit in early 2020, as with musicians all over the world, things slowed as he was unable to tour to promote the EP so he took the opportunity to work with a collective of musicians and artists across the world on a music video for his earlier hit 'Shine a Little Love' to thank all first and front line responders across the world including the NHS in the UK. Calling upon his friends Zac Brown Band and notable artists such as Billy Dean and James Otto to take part, they each recorded videos from home. The video was picked up by national US broadcaster FOX and it was aired across millions of homes in the USA. He went on to use some of his time during the lockdown to write and record new music.
It has been a long 2 and 1/2 years getting back on track after the pandemic, but Brian found other ways to continue his creative ambition. In 2020, he partnered with Producers Richard Saperstein and Beau Turpin in a film production company (Bluestone Entertainment) working as a Music Supervisor. They are currently finishing their feature film, Slingshot (starring Casey Affleck and Laurence Fishburne) due for release in 2023. Also, during this time, Brian developed a friendship with Will Turpin of Collective Soul and partnered with his Real 2 Reel Studio. They've now formed a publishing and production company helping artists new and old realize their visions.
In November 2022 Brian joined the multi-award winning singer-songwriter and fellow w21Records artist Kezia Gill on her UK tour. They hit the road and performed to sold out crowds across England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Brian gained many followers on the tour which didn't go unnoticed by the promoters and was instantly snapped up and booked for Europes largest country music festival C2C Country 2 Country held at the O2 Arena in London.
2023 started with a bang as Brian released 'The Finer Things' single to accompany his trip to London in March where he entertained thousands of country fans from all over the world alongside the likes of Zac Brown Band, Lady A and Old Crow Medicine Show at C2C Festival.
With his new single 'Jimson Weed" on the way in August, it sure is an exciting time for fans of this extremely talented Singer-Songwriter!
